 BASIC HEALTH

FILLINGS
Dental fillings are done to repair minimal tooth fractures and tooth decay also known as "cavities". Options to replace damaged surfaces of teeth include tooth colored fillings also know as composite or silver amalgam fillings. Restoration options are tailored to meet your specific needs.

BONDING
Bonding allows us to repair decayed, chipped and broken teeth. We are also able to alter the shape, alignment and close gaps between teeth. A composite resin material is chosen to match or whiten the existing teeth. The composite is then shaped, contoured and hardened with a dental curing light. The composite resin material is then polished to establish a lustrous finish to blend naturally and create a healthy bright smile .

SEALANTS
Sealants are a great way to help prevent tooth decay. Sealants are used to seal deep grooves and pits on the chewing surfaces of bicuspids and molars. These areas can be difficult to clean and over time these areas can develop cavities. The best way to prevent these cavities is to have dental sealants placed. We will apply a thin coating on the tooth to seal the grooves and pits making it easier to clean and keep your teeth healthy.

NON-SURGICAL GUM TREATMENTS
Periodontal disease also known as gum disease attacks the gum and bone surrounding your teeth and is the leading cause of  tooth loss. Bacteria in plaque and the oral cavity, causes the tissue to become red and swollen and if left untreated can cause bone and tooth loss.  Our office has developed a Non Surgical Periodontal Program tailored to meet your specific needs. Our skilled and well educated hygiene team will assess your periodontal health with a full series of x-rays to evaluate bone levels and complete a full periodontal evaluation which includes measuring the health of your gum tissue. After our full assessment we can tailor a program to meet your needs, with our non surgical periodontal treatment. We may also use  locally administered antibiotic. In severe cases additional treatment may be needed by a specialist.
